Our initiative received a great welcome and, thanks to all involved, we hope to be able to circulate academic research and its possibilities of intervention in the public debate, in addition to contributing to the Maré de Sabores project, linked to Redes da Maré , to whom we thank the partnership. Maré de Sabores, linked to the Casa de Mulheres da Maré, was chosen as a way to honor city councilor Marielle Franco and to collaborate with the “Maré says NO to coronavirus” campaign.

In addition, we will allocate 10% of teachers' remuneration to the solidarity fund of the Academic Center for Philosophy at UFRJ, which is supporting and helping students and families of students affected by the crisis caused by the pandemic. As soon as we finish the accounting, we will make public the complete accountability of the course, which had all 300 vacancies filled.

As our course starts this Thursday, June 4th, we kindly ask that, if you want, consult the updated bibliographies of each class, since small changes have been made in relation to the initial program.
